Introduction to the Pilates School of WA
About the School
Our studios are beautifully presented and well equipped for our programmes. We endeavour to eliminate any intimidation factor associated with class environments and encourage all our participants to achieve their own maximum performance.

This school and it's instructors lead by example with the utmost integrity in our craft. We strive for service excellence, and believe in our clients. We promote an environment that supports self-awareness and responsibility for our bodies.

As a qualified Instructor Trainer, Erit Livshitz provides additional and ongoing training to all method instructors who join our teaching staff. We continue to strive to develop and improve our programme at all times, bringing you the most up to date and skilled tuition available.

A holistic approach

Moderate exercise and good nutrition became vitally important to reclaiming a healthy weight, a healthy liver and most importantly a healthy approach to food. Food should satisfy you. Every meal should be delicious, quick and easy to prepare and essentially good for you.

With a lifetime of personal experience in disordered eating as well as eating disorders combined with my professional experience as a personal trainer and lifestyle coach, I feel more than qualified to inform you of the pitfalls and help you on your path to embracing a healthier lifestyle and nutritional awareness from within.

Whilst we are a Pilates school, my philosophy extends to an encouraging a nurturing environment that one can embrace, so you may consider a holistic approach to your healthñ Erit Livshitz

Hi, I'm Erit Livshitz - Principal of the Pilates School of WA. I started the school in June 2001. I have a lifelong background in dance and started teaching fitness classes at the age of 18. Having had years of many health challenges, including severe back pain and after delivering my son who is now almost twelve, I began studying alternative health, specialising in womens' health.

I had spent some time in America in 1998 and had seen Pilates studios everywhere. After a successful but stressful career in Real Estate, I knew I had to change my own lifestyle. I completed my Pilates training in the Eastern States, and soon my dream of having my own studio was realised.

My passion and belief that all people should be doing Pilates was my inspiration to design a programme that would bring this fundamental practice of improved physical wellness to everyone who wanted to learn. Until January 2001, Pilates was being delivered on a one to one basis or small group environment where the cost per session was really quite high. This becomes unaffordable for the average person to maintain on a weekly basis. We designed a programme that makes it possible for us to deliver attentive, quality tuition in a group environment, limited to twenty people per class.

If you do these exercises once a week- you'll feel the difference, if you do them twice a week - you'll see the difference, if you do them three times a week - others will see the difference.
